Philosophy

 For many years, Ignatian spirituality and ethos of Jesuit life has been challenging many of the norms that the world takes for granted.

Freedom and justice for those who are oppressed and marginalized, has become our motto – not only to be recited, but acted on in the real world – that is, ‘for a faith that does justice’.

This has led to an ongoing contribution to people whose lives are broken or disempowered, by the sharing of resources and the hearts and labors of men and women committed to a just and more compassionate world.

It is in this very act of giving that we ourselves learn from the people we serve, grasping a sense of what it is to be tolerant, forgiving, loving and compassionate in this time of continual change.
